Practical AI. Shared progress.

Better tools.
More possibilities.
One step closer.

We’re building retinal AI assistance for care settings with limited resources, and a home for managing models and connecting them to applications.

Our Series 1 focus. Both in development.

People at the center.Evidence in view.Progress within reach.

Series 1 · Our primary focus

Two starting points.
Real-world needs.

Tools for clinicians working with existing equipment. Infrastructure for people building with AI. These are the products we’re prioritizing first.

Research prototype

Retinal imaging · Clinician assistance

EyeOps

Bring retinal AI closer
to where care happens.

Third-party assistance for care settings where cameras and computers are already in use, but modern retinal AI is out of reach.

Model infrastructure · ThreadKeeper by Sharedstep

Model Hub

A clearer path from
model to application.

A workspace for model records, versions, access, and usage, with a gateway to compatible inference providers.

  • Model registry
  • Scoped API access
  • Provider connections

EyeOps is a research prototype; clinical validation, device compatibility, and regulatory authorization are not established. Model Hub is not generally available.

Series 2 · Developing in parallel

The next connections.

Two connected areas of work continue alongside Series 1, at a lower development priority.

SignalMatters by Sharedstep

Your health.
Your data.

How we build

Useful by design.
Accountable in practice.

Our principles guide development. Every product still has to earn trust through implementation, testing, and evaluation in its intended setting.

01

Start with the real setting.

Equipment, connectivity, budgets, and the people doing the work shape the product. We start with a specific workflow and expand from what we learn.

02

Keep evidence visible.

Preserve source context, model versions, and known limits so that people can examine a result and understand what supports it.

03

Make data use deliberate.

Design around clear purposes, appropriate access, and understandable permissions. Health-data protections must be verified before patient-data deployment.

About Sharedstep

Progress is better
when it’s shared.

Sharedstep, Inc. is an independent technology company building practical tools for health and AI-enabled work.

Our health direction includes EyeOps and SignalMatters by Sharedstep. ThreadKeeper by Sharedstep brings together our model and workflow tools. Different needs, with a shared emphasis on human judgment, clear evidence, and responsible data use.
